A Research Agenda for Ending Homelessness

June 26, 2014 This document is intended to inform government agencies, philanthropic organizations, and other funders about outstanding research questions on homeless populations and subpopulations and interventions designed to end homelessness. The agenda does not represent an exhaustive list of unanswered questions, but instead focuses on the most pressing unanswered research questions immediately relevant to policy and program development.

May 28, 2014 The State of Homelessness in America 2014 is the fourth in a series of reports that chart progress in ending homelessness in the United States. It examines trends in homelessness between 2012 and 2013, trends in populations at-risk of homelessness from 2011 to 2012, trends in assistance available to persons experiencing homelessness, and establishes a baseline from which to measure changes in the homeless assistance system enacted by the Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing (HEARTH) Act.

Rapid Re-Housing: A History and Core Components

April 22, 2014 This resource provides a brief overview of the history and effectiveness of rapid re-housing and provides context for the Alliance's Core Components of rapid re-housing resource, which the Alliance developed in collaboration with the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
